![]() May 18, 2008Democrats Flounder In Bush Hatred![]() From WhiteHouse.gov Professional Democrats are so gorged with hatred of President George W. Bush; they risk smashing any hope of regaining the White House. Consider the amateurish response by Senator Barack Obama to a passing statement by Bush before the Israeli Parliament Thursday -- on the occasion of its 60th birthday. President Bush said:
The President, foremost, was referring to the “Holocaust” of the Second World War. Back then, European leaders rushed to give Adolph Hitler -- “Chancellor” of Nazi Germany -- parts of their territory if he just would be nice to them. Those nations that did not welcome Hitler were “annexed” by gunpoint. Never mind the slaughter of six million pacifist Jews in poison-gas chambers. OBAMA OFFENDED
Nevertheless, Obama quickly took personal offense at President Bush – accusing him of launching a “false political attack” against him about appeasing dictators. “George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists. The president’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy – and the politics of fear – do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.” Obama is either vainglorious, or he is itching for a fight. President Bush’s press secretary, Dana Perino, told reporters in Israel that her boss was not referring to Obama.
TALK THE TALKObama has stated on several occasions that as president he would personally negotiate with Iran and offer economic incentives -- and a chance for peaceful relations if Iranian leaders would forgo their pursuit of nuclear weapons and support of terrorists. He also has said he would strongly reject Iran’s development of nuclear weapons, its anti-Semitic rhetoric, and support of terrorists. Iraq ’s Saddam Hussein had become the reincarnated Hitler while the United Nations divvied oil money. This same, pacifist, mind-set bedevils the Middle East today America and a few friends rescued Iraq and Afghanistan from the clutches of despots. However, the myopic self-centered, historically-ignorant pacifists are digging their graves furiously -- and damning anyone who upsets the baddies. GHOST OF TIMES PAST
The Ghost of British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain has been reincarnated in the likes of U.S. Speaker of the House, Rep. Nancy Pelosi. Chamberlain met with Adolph Hitler in 1938 seeking peaceful accommodation. Upon returning at the London airport, Chamberlain triumphantly waved written assurance from Hitler of "Peace in our time!" Last year, Pelosi tied a scarf around her head and wangled a one-on-one with Syria President Bashar al-Assad. He is best known as the lap dog of Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who has promised to obliterate Israel and create a Shiite Muslim super-state oil monopoly around the Persian Gulf. This is not going to happen, but the possibility of another World War threatens. GREAT PHOENIXPelosi quickly rounded up 12 other members of Congress to rush over to Israel on Friday to also wish the nation a happy birthday. Quickly upon arrival, she toured the Holocaust Museum because she wanted to “see the ashes from which this great Phoenix has sprung.” An aide reported that Pelosi was “quite moved,” asked repeatedly how the world could have let the Holocaust happen, and declared we must never let it happen again. Perhaps it is picky to wonder why a “bi-partisan” Congressional delegation felt it necessary to upstage the U.S. President. ![]() Pelosi has become a loose cannon on the Ship of State. Her “fire at will” policy anent politics unnerves everyone in her range. In the event of a catastrophe, she is next in line for the Presidency after the vice-president. Should Obama become President of the United States, Pelosi would be in charge of his firing squad. “Ready. Fire.
